Global Opera Heritage Forum 2019
As part of this year’s Maeya Art Festival , with the support of the St Culture Advocacy that offer to host an inaugural Global Opera Forum between July 12-16, 2019.

What does Cultural Heritage mean for opera? At the first ever global gathering of opera professionals – the Global Opera Forum at Maeya Art Festival – a diverse group of artists, composers, opera managers and public administrators met to address this and other key issues for opera globally. This forum looks at how best opera should celebrate the past and look for meaningful breaks with tradition.

  Larry Minion, Stage Manager 
Larry began his career as an Off-Broadway stage manager and prop master, then began to produce shows He has worked with the Roundabout and Second Stage Theatre Companies on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, such as "The Pajama Game" with Harry Connick Jr., "The Threepenny Opera" with Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper and "The Entertaining Mr. Sloane" with Alec Baldwin.. Recently he has been working with the Producers of the upcoming Broadway production of “Baz Luhrman’s Moulin Rouge” (which will open this coming June).
Larry has produced many acclaimed and award-winning shows from the techno-opera "Bluegirl" to countless number of touring solo shows. He also was producer of the TV Pilot “Psi-ops (Area 23) which became a very popular Video Game. His current project is the TV series “Space Mission 6” a “Mad Men” meets “Galaxy Quest” hybrid in development with Rootbeer Films. He is the founder of “Hollywood Performing Arts School of Bangkok” located in Thailand. 
  Miriam Mayer, Composer, Musician
Miriam is devoted to helping content creators tell their stories with music. She works hard and digs deep to create the right music for creatives. She is a life-long musician, playing violin and viola professionally in the studios and concert halls of her hometown Los Angeles. She worked for John Williams on films including Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace, and The Lost World Jurassic Park. She is a proud member of the Television Academy 
  Bulet Rush, Producer, Actor, Singer
Well known as a film producer, actor, singer, musician, sound producer and entrepreneur. Bulet Rush was born on July 9th, 1991 in Kazan city in Tatarstan Republic located in Russia. He is an Emmy award winning producer. He is one of musicians of the lucky band that participated in Global Battle of the Bands and performed in London on the stage of Astoria. He’s been producing films, short films and TV series for quite a bit and since 2015 he’s been conquering Hollywood, CA. 
In 2016 , he was actor in Daytime Emmy Award Nominated digital TV series “This Just In” . Since 2017, he has Produced 14 times Daytime Emmy Award winning and 30 times nominated in various categories digital TV series “The Bay”. Since 2018 , he is the Guest star in digital TV series “The Bay” and In 2019 he is the Official Judge of 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards 
  Guowang Wang, Leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre
Representative inheritor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, leader of Huaxian county Big String Opera Theatre. Mr. Wang is a member of Henan Province Drama Arts Organization. He focused on Aging Role in Big String Opera, starring as Yi Luo in “Fire Dragon Maze”, as Jiye Yang in “General Yang Pick Soldiers”, etc. Mr. Wang took Huaxian county Big String  Opera Theatre to different areas performed more than 500 times each year, his great efforts helped raising the fame of Big String Opera nationwide. 
George Makinko, Musician, Director of Music Art Center
Makinko is a composer, arranger, lyricist and multi instrumentalist. He studied classical, African and black music during his traveling and staying in over 65 countries. In his over three decades of international performances, he has performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Rome for Pope Jean Paul II in Vatican and other musical theater shows in Australia, France, America and many other countries. He is now owner and director of Joyful Music & Arts Center and director of Act Int'l/ Amahoro International.
  Mei Fu, Leader of Henan Shangqiu Siping Tune Art Research Center
Representative inheritor of Henan Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, National Class-B Performer, representative of the 5th People's Congress of Shangqiu City, director of Henan ShangqiuSiping Tune Art Research Center. In 1988, she was accepted by Henan Opera School and started her professional opera career, focusing on Tsing Yi and Guimen Dan. In 1991, she was assigned to work in Siping Tune Theatre. In 2002, she bravely provoked the responsibility of revitalizing Siping Tune Opera and won many awards. She also won the top honor of Yu Opera genre, "Xiangyu Cup".

TIANYIN ZHANG, LEADER OF TAIKANG DAOQING ART CENTER.
Tianyin Zhang, National Class-B Performer, member of China Theatre Association. Taikai Daoqing Opera provincial Intangible cultural heritage inheritor. In charge of Taikang Daoqing Art Protection Heritage Center since 2012.Mr.Zhang earned the title of “Model of Character and Art” in 2016, the show he directed in 2017 called “Dun Wang” won the first-class prize and best organizer prize of Henan Opera Exhibition. In 2018, Mr.Zhang was honored with the title of“National Model of Dedication”
  John D. McMahon, Musician, Producer
Mr.John D.McMahon is passionate about using his knowledge and abilities in creating art and media that inspires people to broaden their knowledge of different cultures, deepen their awareness of humanity’s immense power when we’re globally united and take action towards world peace. His work for World Vision International and HBO’s Comic Relief has enabled him to see first hand, the basic needs, fears and desires that connect all of humanity. As a graduate of USC’s School of Cinema/Television with advanced studies in Film Music and a professional film-maker for 30 years, Mr. McMahon is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of production.
